I was at Pagham 11 - 1pm on the water. Rigged a 4.5m and that was too big. Went to a 4.0m and that was ideal at times, but left me wanting more in the gaps. Still it was better than being out of control on a bigger sail, especially given that every wave in or out you were trying to second guess what the 10 sailors coming the other way were doing!! Waves were pretty good. Decent size and full cross shore wind. They dont tend to open up down the line for miles, instead its quite a localised steepening so you could bottom turn, cut back, wait, bottom turn, etc. 3 or 4 turns max. Some decent big jumps for me and back loops were the order of the day (not by me) for the assembled pro's.
